Turkey is a European country, an Asian country, a Middle Eastern country, Balkan country, Caucasian country, neighbor to Africa, Black Sea country, Caspian Sea, all these at once.

Turkey grew on us after the Romanian football grew on the Turkish people through Hagi, Lucescu or Popescu. What most people don’t know about Turkey is that they have some of the wildest and most beautiful gulfs from the Aegean Sea, where the water is so clear that you can literally count the rocks on its bottom. Another less known fact is that most of the Turkish islands are actually owned by the Greeks.

Turkey was our first (sailing) love, as it has let us discover some of its misteries. We are forever in love with the Dodecanese Islands, where we always come back with some flutters as we know that we shall always discover something new.
